PCAWL Rescue Stories: Hattie & Tweenie

Hattie and Tweenie are two of Medina's kittens. They inherited their mother's sweet and chatty Siamese personality, but not her Siamese coloring so they were overlooked by adopters for a long, long time. They didn't really care when they were still living at foster mom's house, but after the Holidays they went into the vet's adoption cage at Rolla Animal Hospital. They were cute and friendly, and actually quite beautiful little tabbies but no one was interested in tabby cats.

Weeks passed and the two friendly little girls were getting grumpy and VERY tired of being in the cage. Finally, foster mom took them home again and then to another home, only this one is a forever home. Sherry had lost her Emmy Lou kitty to illness and was tired of the silence in her apartment, so she took in two chatty little tabby girls. Hattie is now Lottie and Tweenie is Lizzie. They are very happy in their new home, getting plenty of love and attention and space to run. Foster mom says "Good things come to those who wait," and indeed they did.
