The Phelps County Animal Welfare League is a nonprofit organization established in 2006, whose passion is the welfare of animals living in Phelps County, Missouri. The best way to promote the welfare of the animals is to have them spayed or neutered. There are many advantages to having your pet spayed or neutered. Please visit our spay/neuter page for more information.
PCAWL is based in Phelps County, and is partners with area shelters in various programs such as a pet food pantry and a very small foster program. However PCAWL is not formally affiliated with a shelter, nor does it receive any funding whatsoever from the city. PCAWL is 100% volunteer run, with no paid employees.
